This big boomerang – coming in at over half a metre – has a beautiful flying action and good hover. It therefore resembles some South American bird of prey souring through dusk air (at least when someone who know’s what they are doing throws it!!)

It requires a strong wrist (probably another reason why I failed miserably!) and some skill (ditto) but is comparatively easy to learn.

The tri-blader – so named because of it’s tripartate of blades – has a really precise flight and looks great in the air. You might have to walk a fair way to get it afterwards, but believe me – it looks great in the air.
