Experience one of the most glamorous watersports in the world.

Planing across the water in a powerful craft is sheer exhilaration. After a few hours, you might just feel like one of the international jet set! This full day programme will leave you breathless with excitement. Here is your unique chance to race single-seater monohulls, catamarans and hydroplanes. Nothing else gives you such a feeling of mastery over the water.

This is a great opportunity to learn straight from the experts how to drive three types of race boat, hydroplanes, catamarans and monohulls. In the hydroplanes you either kneel or lie flat on your stomach. The day will start at 9:00 with registration and tea and coffee. At 09.30 you will be officially welcomed, given a drivers briefing and introduction to the sport. Between 10:00 and 11:00 there will be an introduction to the boats, followed by practice driving until a buffet lunch at 1:00pm. From 2:00 – 5:00pm you will have practical race training, ending with afternoon tea, presentation of certificates and a memento of the day. During the day you are likely to do a total of 20+ laps, with each lap being just under a mile in length so you will cover quite a distance!

Selected limited Monday to Saturday dates, April to October.

Your total experience will last approximately 7 hours.

You must be at least 14 years old; under 18’s require parental consent. The maximum age is 70 years.
Participants should be reasonably fit and able to get in and out of a boat unaided. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone); the minimum height is 1.57m (5ft 2′) and the maximum height is 1.87m (6ft 2′). The maximum girth size is 142cm (56′).
There is a strict policy to nil tolerance to alcohol and drugs. You will be asked to sign a disclaimer as to whether you are fit to undertake the experience.

There’ll be a maximum of 17 others in your group.

Spectators

You are welcome to bring along family and friends to watch you, but the centre will charge a spectator fee.

3, 2, 1, BUNGEE! These are the last words you will hear before launching yourself from a 170ft platform and plummeting rapidly towards the ground. Once you have jumped, a euphoric sense of achievement fills your body with the knowledge that you have jumped with nothing more than an elastic band to save you!

Itinerary:

On arrival you will complete a membership form. You will be given a full safety briefing and be weighed to ensure the correct bungee rope is used. Then you will be securely attached to the rope and taken up in the bungee cage. From there it s up to you to leap off!

Product Information
Driving a hovercraft is like driving a car with four flat tyres on ice!

After a safety briefing to familiarise you with the craft, you will be taken out individually and shown the controls and driving techniques needed. You then get the chance, under the supervision of an instructor, to take the controls. Depending on weather conditions the activity may take place on mud, sea or sand. Typical sites include (subject to change): Berkshire, Bristol, Cambridgeshire, Cornwall, Devon, Hampshire and Norfolk.

Your motorised madness will last about 3 hours.

Board this 36ft ocean going yacht for an evening of sailing in the Solent. The experience is perfect for brushing up your sailing skills or for the first time sailor looking to experience the magic of yachting. Your skipper will introduce you to the basics and then you will sail for the rest of the evening taking turns behind the wheel with the other participants. This is a great way to enjoy this wonderful sport!

Itinerary:

After a safety briefing your RYA Yachtsmaster skipper will introduce you to the basics of sailing. Then it ’s hands-on sailing for the rest of the evening with everyone taking turns behind the wheel, steering the boat out into the Solent and Southampton Water. You will be able to improve your sailing skills or just sit back and relax in the well protected cockpit. All refreshments afloat are included. The experience lasts from 5:30pm to approximately 07:30pm

Dressed in ninja coveralls and hood with a gas-powered semi-automatic weapon you will look and feel ready for action. Each site has various thrilling scenarios for you to discover if you are the leader of the pack or simply cannon fodder. On final booking you will be able to choose from various battlefields where only the most cunning can survive! All equipment is included for this memorable day out, all you have to get on the day is your paintballs.

The ultimate adrenaline experience! After a twenty five minute nail biting plane ride to reach the required altitude, the roar of the engines softens and you realise your time has come, it ’s now or never as you are over the drop zone. What follows is up to 7,000ft of freefall at speeds of around 120mph strapped securely to a qualified instructor. At 5000ft the instructor deploys the parachute and you float gently into the landing zone.

Itinerary:

Following a short pre-jump briefing you will be provided with a skydivers jump suit to go over your clothes (you should wear comfortable clothing such as a track suit and trainers). Then after fitting a tandem parachute harness (and appropriate headgear and goggles) the jump plane will take 20-25 minutes to reach the required altitude – then it ’s out in to the blue!

Important Fitness/Medical Notes:
You will be required to complete and sign a ‘Declaration of Fitness ‘ to Parachute before training commences (this will be provided when your booking is confirmed).
The minimum age for sport parachuting is 16 years.
For those less than 18 years of age a separate signed letter of consent from a Parent or Guardian will be required before training commences.
If you are 40 years of age or over you must obtain written approval from your Doctor on the ‘Declaration of Fitness to Parachute ‘ form before commencing training.
You will also need a ‘Declaration of Fitness to Parachute if you have suffered from any of the following: Previous fractures, back strain, arthritis and severe joint sprains. Chronic bronchitis, Asthma, Rheumatic fever, Pneumothorax, Liver or kidney disease, Thyroid, adrenal or other glandular disorder. Chronic ear or sinus disease or any condition which requires the regular use of drugs. Anaemia or have recently donated blood.
No person over the age of 50 years will normally be accepted for novice parachute training, other than for Tandem Skydives, where high ages may be acceptable.
Exceptions to this rule may be allowed if the candidate either has previous experience or is of a high standard of fitness and can convince the Instructor of that fitness.

The Abyss@Magna is located just one mile from Juntion 34 on the M1. Pre-booking is essential. On arrival at your booked time you will complete a membership form. You will make your way up to the top of the platform – then, all that ’s left is for you to leap off, fowards or backwards, it ’s up to you!

Race around a tough track and perhaps even navigate your way through the rugged terrain of the woodland! These little monsters are designed especially for outdoor use, the trick is learning how to control them as you tackle obstacles on the training circuits. Once youve mastered the technique of how to handle the quad bike youll progress on to a more challenging course to develop your new found skills, before taking on the rough terrain of the woods (at certain venues only).

Itinerary:

Your experience starts with a safety talk – all participants get a mandatory equipment instruction and safety briefing. Then you will spend some time racing around the rugged circuit tracks and, depending on venue, may head off for some exhilarating offroading! The duration of your experience will be between 1hr and 1hr and a half depending on which venue you choose.

Survival is not about fighting nature; it is about working and living with it. This Survival Camp in the Midlands is run in a 72 acre wood. The wood provides the course with all the resources to make your camp and practice your wilderness bushcraft techniques. The wood is very secluded and offers a fantastic sense of isolation and is the perfect teaching environment for those beginning wilderness bushcraft

Itinerary:

The course starts at 7pm Friday evening and finishes midday Sunday. Teams will be taught basic survival techniques including lighting fires by friction, different shelter building techniques and alternative cooking methods. Also teams will learn about construction of traps and snares and the safe use of cutting tools. Early on Saturday a woodland sauna will be available for use. Outdoor hygiene is provided.
